Heavy
On TV this weekend was both Cry Freedom and Ghandi, both of whiched I watched. Heavy stuff. I was thinking back to childhood how one year I didn't go to school on 16 June (although I went the previous year, and half the pupils didn't), and not really knowing that it was because of, and now always looking forward to my birthday (15/6) because there is a public holiday the following day (good timing!), and realising that there didn't use to be a holiday...
Strange realisation of living in history. Now all the school kids don't go to school :)
