The network went down at work today, for most of the day actually. This is a big deal when you realise that this also affected all the stores nation wide. I am not sure that they could even accept cash (tills being networked computer thingys). The mind boggles. Also this meant no surfing. (bad) no email (good on balance), less phone calls (the phones were still working) and a somewhat quieter-than-expected day.
