Had to share - read this article on new scientist, where they report on a US Supreme Court ruling that file-sharing companies can be held responsible for copyright infringements by users. The crux seems to be that that the companies made no _attempt_ to stop sharing of material that is copyrighted. I was actually very happy about this, especially if it means that I can now sue the gun manufacturers who make no _attempt_ to stop thier guns shooting law-abiding citizens...
